Creative Critical Reflections Questions 1-4

Final Draft: Health-Ful

This media project and magazine took a while to create, and I poured so much time into creating. This health magazine is meant for a very broad audience, one in which partakes in trying to be healthy, and those who want to become healthy. As simple as it sounds, it feels different from the stereotypical health magazine, only focused on the steps of creating more health after being healthy. Instead we want to provide the best way to get there and start that foundation, through Health-Ful. final draft

Post-Production 2- “focus of your editing”

I am still going through the stages with my rough and choppy looking pictures, but it has become much easier to edit. I moved my Magazine in order to make sure that the writing was distributed evenly. I also worked with my partner to ensure that the overall project had as many similarities as we had. The post production side of things has been the toughest, mostly due to us having make sure everything is perfect for submission. getting this work in has been especially challenging with all the software issues, but the setbacks are only minor in the long run for a better looking end of production post. My magazine seems to be where I want it to be, and is almost fully done. I have made sure to put in the proper edited photos with the right pictures, and made sure to move my content title, and ensure that the selling line and masthead are properly matched.

Now is the time in which I must create self improvement in my project. In order to further better the project, I will need to take multiple approaches, and further develop it into a proper magazine. My first points will be ensuring that I have the proper font, and that the writing, and setup doesn't look so choppy and inconsistent throughout. I will also need to make sure that I have the proper front, and want to make sure that all my work isn't so masculine.

Peer Review

As found through the peer review, my peers and I were able to identify my issues with the Magazine. 1) I found my issue with my import that it ruined my pictures and created a blue outline. I will have to unlock the text box and make them transparent. With this, I will also need to re-upload pictures into the software to ensure that my method of importing is not ruined again, and coming out with higher quality work. 2) I will need to even out my spacing. With my feature article I will need to even my text boxes out so it doesn't look funky. I need to properly line them up and create more space for my pictures to push over, as though I have a solid aesthetic, this will help the magazine look much more refined, and helps the text and photo lining look more even.  3) I will undoubtedly need to work with my partner and make sure that our projects are completely even. As of now, mine has a more refined look in terms of a male aspect, so instead of only creating appeal to males, I ...
