Midterm Exam

Production 4- ”focus of your work”

I have been informed by one of my peers that I can now upload a photo without an issue by using File and Place. As I did not find this out until just now, I used the past weekend to retake better, and higher quality photos in the case that I kept running into this issue, which has now been resolved. I am currently working on my feature article, and writing out what I will put into the magazine itself. As of now, things are going as planned.

Production 3.5- ”focus of your work”

I have already gotten my pictures done, and am now able to move on. The questions I asked included: How do you stay physically healthy each year and season? How do you mentally stay healthy? How do you incorporate your diet into your running? How do you feel you progress when your constantly doing workouts and long runs? What else do you do outside of your running career that has great effect? What are challenges you've faced, and how have you overcome them? With this also comes the issue of having changed my portfolio itself, meaning I will have minor revisions to my storyboard.

Production 3- ”focus of your work”

I have began setting up my portfolio, and the beginning of my project is going well. The software set up is fairly easy, and is manageable to work with. I have gotten my cover done, and am still currently working on finishing my font and overlap. The issue I have run into with the software is the complexity of the colorway when adding the touches to the words, and accent lines. With the cover page, I have consistently found myself trying to upload my photo, yet keep running into an issue with its clarity.

Production 2.5- ”focus of your work”

After having complete the layout of my magazine, I am now able to complete my project and put it together. I feel confident I am able to get this done in time, especially because I'm becoming more familiar with the software and able to use it properly. However, I keep running into an issue every time I insert photos and that is each time it comes out blurry. This is only a minor setback, as I am currently looking for many solutions to this issue, and trying to find how I can further resolve this in order to get the right clarity. I can now, and am currently moving onto my magazine content page.

Production 2- ”focus of your work”

In regards to the beginning of the project, I have already covered my questions and asked my interviewee his designated questions. In times of adversity, Caleb got COVID, meaning I am unable to interview him, so instead, I will be covering my friend Zane Davis, a local runner from our rival school and a great friend of mines. All of the responses were thorough and he gave me plenty of relevant information for me to start writing my article. I am still messing around with Adobe InDesign in order to full attain grasp on the project elements, and masterfully design my magazine.
